Once a thriving Milltown in western Massachusetts,
Bondsville is located just off interstate 90 (MA Pike) near the Palmer Exit,
and just a hop skip and a jump away from UMass Amherst by way of Belchertown.


Directions to Milltown Ink

Directions
From the Mass Pike:

Take Exit 8, Palmer, MA.

Turn Right onto Route 32.

At second light, take a right. This is Route 181.

Follow Route 181, towards Amherst/UMass, approx. 5 miles into Bondsville.

Milltown Ink is located 1/8 mile past the flower trough on the right. (see picture below)

 From Amherst:

Take Route 181 (Mill Valley Road) into Belchertown.

After about 5 miles, turn left onto Depot Street, staying on 181.

Go 0.4 miles and turn right onto Main Street (still 181).

Milltown Ink is on the left, just past the Gin Mill.

The Swift River, which runs along Route 181, across from the shop.
This is a picture of the High Wall Swimmin' Hole.
It was used for power on the hydro side up til the '68 Mill fire.
